Zero gravity spurs a discovery!
Over a decade ago, NASA was the first to investigate the effects that zero-gravity had on the spine during space travel. Scientists found that pressure on the spine was eliminated in the zero-gravity state. In addition, astronauts gained as much as 2 inches in height during space missions, due to increased disc height from the unloading of disc pressure from gravity.
