The feet are still a little numb but much better. Balance has improved a lot. I have no cramps at this time. Much has been achieved in reversing 5 years Of pain with 6 short weeks of treatment!” Ron Z.

Painful burning feet, numbness in the toes, foot tingling, Stabbing pain, wounds and ulcers that won’t heal as well as balance problems. These are just some of the symptoms that Diabetics and non-diabetics can suffer with, when they have Peripheral Neuropathy.

I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that you have already been told, incorrectly I might add, that there is no real effective treatment for this condition. Except for drugs that may manage your pain.

You may have already been offered or might even be on Neurontin (gabapentin), Cymbalta or Lyrica (pregabalin).

Unfortunately for many these drugs are ineffective, or come with intolerable side-effects which make them a poor treatment choice.

A Podiatrist or foot doctor is an excellent choice for conditions that may need surgery or cortisone. But, consistently don’t have answers for neuropathic pain, numb feet, loss of balance, etc.

So, what are you to do?

Listen to the doctors that tell you that there really is no treatment for your condition as they offer you more and more pain medication?

I mean really, do you want to get more and more drugged up or do you want to keep your wits about you and find relief without drugs?

“Relief without drugs” Then we need to understand the problem better.

Understanding the problem!

If we look at the cause associated with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathies. It actual provides the solution.

Let me explain.

Stated and explained simply…

…Diabetes affects the circulation to the feet. As the micro-circulation (very small arteries) decrease their delivery of blood into the feet, there are affects seen and felt everywhere!

Decreased circulation will decrease the blood or oxygen to the tissue. It can slow the exchange of nutrients and waste products from within your toenails or nail beds, because of the decrease fluid exchange your ability to resist a fungal infection decreases. As a result, the majority of patients we see have fungus in their toenails.

Your toes and feet can feel cold and your toes can get red or purple in color. The lack of oxygen to the toes can get so bad that the tissue can turn black and die and amputation can become your only option.

Decrease circulation can affect the skin color and hair as well as the moisture of the skin. So, it is not uncommon to see hair around the ankles falling out, the skin can become dry, cracked and it can take on a red mottled appearance.

The lack of circulation will affect nerves within the feet. This lack of circulation decreases Nerve Growth Factor, oxygen and nitric oxide in the area and as a result the myelin (fatty insulation) that wraps around the nerve becomes damaged. This effects the smallest nerves mostly. Damage to these nerve fibers is associated with pain and tingling and eventually numbness.

But in some cases, it also affects the larger nerves, this can add to the feelings of numbness and lead to problems with balance. This can also affect the motor nerve resulting in muscle wasting and imbalance….this leads to hammer toes etc.

Basically some nerves become sick and decrease their amount of nerve activity (underactive nerves), this causes problems….numbness, balance and weakness. And others start firing too much (overactive nerves), and this causes other problems…burning pain, tingling etc.

Lyrica and Neurontin were drugs designed to stop convulsions not to treat peripheral neuropathy. But what they found is that when people took these drugs, all the nerves quieted down. So they started using it for conditions that involve nerve pain. This drug is used to quiet down the nerves that are firing too much…usually your pain nerves.

But as you can see there is much more going on with this condition than just the overactive pain nerves. That is why it is ineffective for most Peripheral Neuropathy sufferers. Let alone the side effects.

The Solution or treatment, if it is going to help, must therefore address both your injured nerve types, as well as improve your circulation and balance.

Well what if I told you…

  1. That we have a scientifically proven way to increase circulation, oxygenation and nerve growth factor into the legs and feet without drugs.
  2. That we have a way to quiet down the over active nerves, naturally?
  3. That we are also able to increase the health and activation of the under active nerves, also naturally?
  4. That we know the specific and specialized exercises that will improve your balance.

Literally, we have a treatment program that addresses all the needs of your condition.
